Dr. Linda Malkas presenting the “Spirit of Life” Award to Tim.  Back in 1992, the City of Hope asked Tim to be the recipient of their prestigious “Spirit of Life” award and to lead the Arizona food industry in support of this cutting-edge medical research and treatment facility.  Twenty-five years later, he was honored to receive the same award on April 29, 2017.  Little did Tim know when he helped organize the Southwest Food Industries Circle and the first fundraising event a quarter century ago, that a wonderful partnership was put in motion that has raised more than $15 million for cancer research at City of Hope.
