Lulu’s Fund is a proud supporter of Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network (APARN), and each year matches up to $25,000 on funds raised by their cutest pug event.
Since their start in 2001, APARN has rescued over 2500 pugs. They’ve taken in all kinds of pugs, from pregnant pugs with puppies on the way, to 17 year-old pugs whose owners simply no longer wanted them, and everything in between. APARN never turns down a pug in need, hence their motto, “No Pug Left Behind.” APARN will usually have 70-90 pugs in foster care at any given time, which includes the 12-15 Forever Foster pugs, which are pugs with issues deemed too severe to be adopted out, so they remain in their foster home under APARN’s loving care for the rest of their lives. APARN is an all-volunteer and all-donation based organization that strives to give each pug the best care they can, as they search to find them Forever Homes.
