Our sixth recipient, (Captain) Colin S. Barry, graduated from Harvard Business School in 2012 with an MBA.  He served as an Infantry Platoon Commander, Infantry Company Executive Officer, and Infantry Battalion Assistant Operations Officer.  Colin was deployed in the northeastern suburbs of Fallujah, Iraq, in 2008, and led 48 Marines in counterinsurgency operations, economic and infrastructure reconstruction, local government reform, and development of Iraqi Security Forces.  In 2009, he planned and supervised counterinsurgency operations involving 320 Marines in four combat outposts in Farah and Nimruz Provinces, Afghanistan.  Colin was an Honors Graduate from Dartmouth College in 2006, and was President of the school newspaper, The Dartmouth, Inc.; Moderator for Palaeopitus Senior Leadership Society; Programming Chair for Fire and Skoal Senior Society; and first team flanker on Dartmouth Rugby Club.  Colin is now a Director of Growth at Tripadvisor.  Colin resides in Wellesley, MA, with his wife Katie, and son, Blake.
