Our forty-fourth recipient, Colonel Jeremy S. Winters, completed the AMP at Harvard Business School in October 2023. Jeremy is a Marine Aviation Command and Control Officer currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commandant for Aviation in Washington, D.C. He earned his commission from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1998. Jeremy commanded Marines at every rank, and in every major element of the Marine Air Command and Control System, including Company Command in both Marine Air Control Squadron One and Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron 38, and Commanding Officer assignments at Marine Air Support Squadron One and Marine Air Control Group 38. He accumulated over 12,000 combat crew hours across every agency in the Marine Air Command and Control System, served aboard Joint Airborne platforms, and performed as a Marine Liaison Officer in both the Central Command and Korea Combined Air Operations Centers. Jeremy is both a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and the Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Courses. Staff assignments include Aviation C2 Transformation Officer at Headquarters Marine Corps Aviation, C3 Department Head at Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One, Joint Staff Secretary of Defense Orders Book Briefer, and Deputy Director for C4 at Headquarters Marine Corps. Jeremy is a proud U.S. Naval Academy graduate, where he won a national championship as a collegiate rower. He holds advanced degrees with distinction from National University, the U.S. Naval War College, National Defense University’s College of Information & Cyberspace, and was the 2018 National War College Distinguished Military Graduate. He is also a Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar XXI National Security Fellow.
