- Educational institutions include Harvard Business School, Wesleyan University, Deerfield Academy, and other schools attended by Tim and family members with emphasis on supporting activities, facilities, and programs that encourage physical fitness, sound nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
- Organizations that promote the free enterprise system and the principles of economic freedom, individual responsibility, and limited government include the Goldwater Institute. The Foundation also supports the improvement of facilities and programs that strengthen economic development like the Timothy T. Day Business Enterprise Center at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
- World-renowned medical associations like Barrow Neurological Foundation, City of Hope, Hospice of the Valley, Mayo Clinic Foundation, Scripps Health Foundation, St. John’s Health Foundation, and Valley of the Sun United Way.
- And finally, the Foundation supports select community charities including Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park Foundation, and Kingdom X.

Old Bill’s Fun Run
Established in 1989, the Community Foundation is the philanthropic focal point in Jackson Hole, serving donors, nonprofit organizations and the community. Old Bill’s Fun Run is their annual fundraiser and the funds are used to feed the hungry, support the sick and elderly, teach kids to read, protect wildlife, build affordable housing, enrich lives through the arts and touch the lives of everyone in Teton County.
The Timothy T. Day Foundation has contributed to the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole and Old Bill’s Fun Run since 1999.

In 2018, the Foundation funded a group fitness room and hockey puck shooting room in Deerfield’s new athletic complex.

Grand Teton National Park Foundation
Grand Teton National Park Foundation funds projects that enhance Grand Teton National Park’s cultural, historic, and natural resources and helps others learn about and protect all that is special in the park. The Foundation also initiates improvements, critical research, and outreach that enrich visitors’ experiences to help create a stable future for Grand Teton National Park.
One of Grand Teton National Park Foundation’s notable achievements was the Jenny Lake Renewal Project that was completed in 2019. The well-loved area’s trails, bridges, key destinations, and visitor complex have transformed into a portal for discovery and now allow people with a wider range of abilities to connect with the park in meaningful, memorable ways. In 2014, the Timothy T. Day Foundation was proud to sponsor the rebuilding of South Cascade Creek Trail, which ascends towards Hidden Falls.
