We are so proud of our friends over at Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network (APARN) for recently accepting 29 of the pugs rescued from a local puppy mill. Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s MASH Unit gave plenty of affection to all of the puppy mill dogs while in their care, and with the assistance of the state director of The Humane Society of United States, these pugs are now receiving proper medical treatment through APARN.
These dogs will be available for adoption in the near future once APARN clears them medically. A lot of the dogs they have accepted have medical issues, like most dogs from puppy mills that must be addressed before finding their forever homes. This Christmas, keep them in mind and please be patient as they take the necessary time to care for these pugs during this busy holiday season. Visit their Facebook page for more information.
