On March 4, 2017, The Arizona Pet Project (formerly known as Friends of Animal Care and Control) hosted this inspiring evening which celebrates animal and human heroes alike, and regales the crowd with stories of survival, companionship, and acts of heroism – all in the name of raising money for life-saving spay & neuter. Photographed is 2017’s Animal Survivor Award recipient Raleigh, with his mom Joey Ogburn.  Sadly, Raleigh went to the Rainbow Bridge on April 26, shortly after receiving his much deserved award.
