Our Day Scholars and Mentorship Program has been a unique feature of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation since 2012, and Kareem El was a Day Scholar recipient during his 2014-15 college year.  We are proud to announce that Kareem was recently commissioned on August 7, 2015, as an officer in the Marine Corps. After visiting the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel, he toured the Timothy T. Day Overlook and shot these images to commemorate the occasion.
