THE MARINE CORPS HERITAGE FOUNDATION PLANS FOR A NEW SEMPER FIDELIS MEMORIAL PARK PAVILION

The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation (MCHF) has plans in 2022 to expand Semper Fidelis Memorial Park which will include: new Rally Points, additional monument locations, a new Pavilion, an additional Overlook, and more pathways for brick placements.  The Timothy T. Day Foundation has always been a strong supporter of the MCHF, and we are excited to announce that we plan to fund the development of the new Semper Fidelis Memorial Park Pavilion.

The Pavilion will be a beautiful new addition to the existing structures in the park.  Some highlights of the new 600 square-feet Pavilion include:

  • The Pavilion will be used for small ceremonies and gatherings
  • Visitors will be able to walk 360 degrees around the Pavilion
  • When standing in the Pavilion, visitors will have a view of the back of the Museum
  • The Pavilion will have the architectural look and feel of the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel
  • There will be several benches and plaques for sponsorship opportunities

While the expansion project of the Semper Fidelis Memorial Park won’t break ground until mid-2022 and is expected to take about one and half years to complete, we look forward to celebrating it’s opening.
